recyclerrrTheme: To recycle, reduce and reuse a number of materials, not just cotton fabric.

Most of us have a habit of buying things we really don’t need, more than we need , won’t use more than once or repair if they are worn . So my thought with this challenge is to not buy anything new (as in fabric) to be the base of the challenge. My thought is to reshape those excess/used/leftover items into something useful and possibly practical.

Suggested Items for collections

are:

Tyvek(mailing) envelopes /house covering/painting suits(all used)/plastic grocery bags

wool,flannel,polyester/cotton,cotton,silk ,bamboo fabric scraps no larger than a

half yard / 2 fat quarters or pieces no less than 3x3inch square

worn, but clean men’s/women’s dress shirts, suit pants, ties, old bras and garters

* Pieces of cotton, wool, silk, bamboo or polyester batting No larger than a ½ yard (wide)

and no smaller than 8×8 inch square

(*Mark with an X any of the battings that are fusible)

Fibers,buttons,zippers,snaps, bells etc..(embellishments)

0 cheers!
