The American Quilters Society is a dynamic membership organization with goals firmly set in future growth of the American quilting community. KimonoStudio Art Quilt Associates
(SAQA) is a national not-for-profit organization Kimonothat was founded in 1989 to serve artists working in the art quilt medium. SAQA sponsors exhibits, conferences, workshops, and awareness to the public-at-large. SAQA has just launched (March 2008) it's SAQA University Wiki (which is for SAQA members only). This is an exciting addition to the SAQA website and provides links to recorded Mentoring conference calls and Wiki tutorials.  I am the Regional Co-Representative for New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
