I feel it is important to give of yourself to help others . It gives me great pleasure to know that my Functional Art provides both warmth and helps to raise money for causes that can make a difference.
I have made quilts for the 123 project, for babies “at risk”. I have also made quilts for the Quilted Gift project through my quilting guild (Amoskeag Quilt Guild). The Quilted Gift distributes quilts to local groups such as veterans, children’s homes, women’s shelters ,nursing homes or wherever the need arises.
